I've been riding for 23 years, and back when I got my license Texas basically just handed it to me after a laughably simple written and riding test. Those days are gone. My 18 year old son recently took the beginner course from TXMT - I sat on the sidelines and watched and talked with him between sessions. I was impressed with the quality of instruction and the attention to detail during the two day session. The instructor was strict but fair and he really knew his stuff. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to obtain a class M endorsement in Texas. The low price was a nice bonus - but most importantly my son learned a great foundation of skills to build on.
